Privacy Policy
Effective 6 October 2026 · Last updated 6 October 2026
Foldyn has not opened yet. This policy covers the only personal data we collect today: the early-access waitlist on foldyn.co.uk. We will update it before accounts or payments go live.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Foldyn is a product of QSTAR AI LTD (company number 17485746, registered in England and Wales; registered office: 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom). QSTAR AI LTD is the controller of the personal data described here, for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Privacy questions or requests: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- Your email address.
- Submission details — the date and time you joined (UTC), the page you submitted the form on, the first page you landed on during that visit, the website that referred you (domain only), your country code, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content).
We do not store your IP address. To prevent abuse, we keep a short-lived counter based on a salted hash of your IP address; it expires automatically after about 11 minutes.
We have no accounts, take no payments and collect nothing else at this stage.
3. How we use your data
We use your email address only to tell you when Foldyn early access opens and to send launch news about Foldyn. The submission details help us understand which pages and links bring people to the waitlist. We do not sell your data or use it for anything else.
4. Legal basis
Consent. By submitting the waitlist form you agree to receive early-access and launch emails from Foldyn. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to remove you (see section 9); this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
5. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, processes form submissions and stores the waitlist, and provides security protection.
- Google Fonts — this website loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Authorities or professional advisers — only where required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Cloudflare is a US company, so your data may be processed outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after Foldyn opens if you have not become a customer, after which it is deleted.
8. Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), the waitlist is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to those who need it.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
10. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. Cloudflare's security protection may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site.
11. Children
Foldyn is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
12. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when Foldyn opens or our data practices change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Email [email protected].
